Green Bean Soup
Ingredients:
4 oz. of Sour Cream
2 Tablespoons Flour (depending on thickness)
2-3 Cups of Milk (adjust depending on desired thickness)
Potatoes (Cubed)
1 Tablespoon Salt
Pepper to Taste
1 Chopped onion
4 Tablespoons Butter
Tools:
Soup Pot
Small Sauce Pot
Cutting Board
Chef Knife
Time:
Total - 2 hours
Prep - 30 minutes during soak
Cooking - 1 hour
Steps:
Boil the potatoes until about soft and remove from heat.
Add fresh green beans
Remove water as needed so that the beans and potatoes are just covered.
Add 2-3 Cups of milk (depending on desired thickness).
Add the sour cream
Return to heat and cook until it thickens.
If not thick enough, add flour and water as needed.
Once thick remove from heat.
Brown onions in another pot with butter until the butter is browned and the onions are soft.
Dump browned onions and butter into the soup pot.
Mix it all together.
